I would like to learn mandarin and french for career development reasons. Cantoese is my mother tongue, however I cannot read or write chinese. I wouldnt mind learning to read or write chinese too.
I have a basic knowledge of french (grade A in GSCE) and would like to build it up to use in a business environment.

I have been learning via Pimsleur tapes for quite a while now. Just starting level three (of three). I guess I would have to say I am low intermediate level.
I am looking for someone whom I can at the very least talk with on wekends to better my listening comprehension . And perhaps learn some writing.

I am a French assistant in ryde, in the Isle of Wight.I have been learning Madarin for almost three years in France and I don't want to give up this year. I would like to improve my speaking and I think that an hour or two of conservation with a native Mandarin teacher will be very helpful. I really hope I could find someone speaking Mandarin in the Isle of Wight or in Portsmouth.
I study Mandarin because I am really interested in China in general and I would like to spend a year there after the end of my studies.

I haven't taken any clasees in chinese Mandarin yet, but I would wish to learn.
The main focus of my learning is to communicate on an everyday basis with people. My partner is Chinese and I wish to learn his language.
I would like to be taking classes once a week for 1-2 hours.
