I am currently studying Japanese for my degree. I only started in September 2005, and have a basic level of Japanese, but I would like to improve this in preperation for year 2. I had health problems which meant that I missed a fair bit of studying and so my knowledge is a bit patchy and I have a quite a bit to catch up on over the summer!
I mainly want a patient tutor for a couple of months (till september) to practise spoken Japanese with me (both polite and plain conversationa l forms) as well as possibly helping me with a small amount of grammar/writi ng. I would like to have a one-on-one session for maybe 1-2 hours once a week just to keep my language skills in check. Hopefully my tutor would have the ability to speak English in case I need any explanations, but I need someone who is patient and willing to help me learn. I am a very keen and motivated student but I would prefer to have the lessons somewhere relatively local to me, in the sussex region if possible.

I am a in class student leaving Japan soon, to return to England. I want to continue to study Japanese, completed Japan 111 and Japan 112 at the University of Maryland. I have been doing a beginner Japanese course, which will finish in 1 week. I am looking for a Japanese tutor to continue learning with. I know a lot of vocabulary, but my grammar and speaking confidence is poor.

I am a beginner and would love to learn Japanese. It has always been an interest to me and I have wished to learn it for quiet a while though I have been unable to find anywhere to learn.
I have tried to teach myself but haven't been able to..
I know little if any Japanese but am willing to do my best!
I hope to go to Japan one day, I have japanese pen friends and would like to be able to speak to them.
I would like to take a Japanese class, I dont feel I can learn with out help and think I wouldnt be able to learn unless its face to face teaching.
I am doing A levels at the moment so I am only avalible in the afternoons...
