I would be a beginner when learning Cantonese. While I was growing up, I was always fond of the Chinese language, I was particularly drawn towards Cantonese more than Mandarin. My mother was raised in Cambodia, but throughout her childhood, she was only allowed to speak a dialect I believe known as Chiu Chow or Teochew? I'm not sure. My father is Vietnamese, that I can learn later. Anyhow, I only understand bits and pieces of the language, and I would like to gain improvement with pronunciation and I would really like to be able to converse with others in Cantonese. I do have a day job from Monday-Friday 9-5pm, but I am willing to meet on weekends for a couple of hrs or so if our time doesn't conflict. The more time available for classes, the better. I am extremely interested, now all I need is to find someone who's just as excited in teaching me also. You seemed to be the one. Thank you for your time.

I was an intermediate level Chinese Mandarin student who has not used the language in over a year. I would like to increase my proficiency level in order to meet career goals within my current job. In order to do so, I feel I would need to improve my conversationa l ability and grammar skills. I would be able to devote a maximum of 4 hours face-to-face time, and several more hours self-study time per week. My instructor must have a sense of humor and patience to deal with my many questions!

I only know a few words that i picked up from a friend but really dont understand how to read wright or speak the language.
I met a student from Cluj-Napoca and we got along very well. she told me about her country and where she lived.
Since then I have become more interested in learning the language and Im also going to Romania next year and her mother doesnt speak english.
I need help in all areas
the qualities im looking for is for someone to teach me.
