I am writing on behalf of my son who is nearly 15. If he passes his French AP in May he wishes to commence the study of Portuguese. He has studied a certain amount of Spanish in the past, and is very good at languages. He is looking for semi-immersio n for some weeks over the summer, possibly followed by regular lessons during the school year provided we can square that with his school's language department.

I want to learn Tagalog because I am planning a trip in May/June 2010. My boyfriend and his family are from the Philippines and I would like to learn as much as possible before our trip. I would prefer to learn the language from someone who already is a teacher, as I feel they could help me the most.
