My proficiency level is beginner. I wish to learn Mandarin because I am currently in graduate school andwill be living in Nanjing, while attending Nanjing Universiy and completing my thesis. I would like to dedicate approximately four hours a week in contact time, plus additional study time to process the weekly lessons. I would like my teacher to above all else be knowledgeable with a strong ability to relate lesson plans to the student in ways which facilitate my learning and retention.

My proficiency level is probably intermediate. I spent four months in Greece speaking the language best i could. I want to speak greek because i plan to move to Greece for a few years and want to be more prepared than I was on my latest trip. I feel I need improvement in grammar because everything I have learned thus far I have picked up off the streets. I am interested in the once a week program for 8 weeks. I may very well be adding more time at a later date. I am interested in someone who can give me lots of language exercises for study and someone who explains themselves well.
