I have had one year of high school Russian, and I am going to Russia next year to study the language and literature. I would like to work with a tutor this summer to help me be better prepared for my year abroad. I am interested in working with someone at least 4 day/week from mid-June until mid-August. Private lessons would be preferable but a small group who is at the same level as myself (semi-beginne r) would also work. I live in the Hyde Park area of Chicago.

I just finished French 2020 at Salt Lake Community College. I began french classes during the previous Spring semester and also followed an excelled french course during the summer. I am planning to go to France in September to live for at least six months while I teach English in public schools. I would like to continue practicing and improving my French over the summer, although SLCC does not offer any upper-divisio n french courses. Therefore I am looking for a tutor from May 2007 through mid September.

I am looking for a German tutor that I could work with once a week. I am an American and my fiance' is German and he has now relocated to the States. I want to be able to speak and communicate with his family whom are all still living in Germany. His mother in particular speaks very little English.
