Hello,
I intend to travel to The Netherlands for a working holiday within the next two years. I am a native English speaker, and would like to learn to speak conversationa l Dutch in preparation for this trip. I feel that an ability to speak the official language of the country in which I plan to reside would improve my overall experience and facilitate my travels.
I would like to take private, in-person lessons. An acquaintance of mine has shown interest in traveling to The Netherlands with me, so there is a chance that the two of us would be taking lessons together. Also, it's imperative that my teacher can be flexible in terms of scheduling, as my work schedule varies from week to week. I imagine that one to two sessions per week would be ideal.
I am looking for a a teacher who is patient, flexible, enthusiastic, and motivating. I am a beginner in the fullest sense of the word, but I am driven to succeed.
