I am learning Japanese because I like the Japanese culture and hope to work in Japan some day.
I am a beginner as I have no training in any way but I have been watching a lot of anime and shows. Also, because I am Chinese, I am able to read some Kanji.
I would like to dedicate at least 2 hours each week to my language lessons. My schedule is some what flexible but it may change at times, so the tutor/teacher should have a flexible schedule as well.
The qualities I am looking for in a teacher is their willingness to teach, good knowledge in the language, patience, ability to converse in English fluently, and resourcefulne ss.
As for the lessons, I would like them to be straight forward and full of information. It is also better if the lessons are reasonably priced because I am still a student.

I have completed 101-103 at the Canadian Hearing Society and am looking to continue with my studies of Sign Language. Right now they do not have anyone to teach the next level.
I'd like to learn more about conversationa l Sign. I know a lot of words but am not very comfortable with conversing with a Deaf person. I would like to be more comfortable with that asspect of it.
I am willing to spend 2 or 3 nights a week learning more sign.
What I am expecting from the teacher is paticence and willingness to teach.

Hello,
I am interested in learning to speak bengali fluently. I understand the language completely but I have trouble in pronucation and sentance structure. I am interested in learning this language because I want to communicate with family members and I think it is important to learn my mother tongue. I need improvement in conservation and grammer structure when I speak. I can make small conservation but I find it difficult to do so. I would like to dedicate at least one hour to each lesson daily. The qualities that I am looking for in a teacher is someone who is fluent in both english and bengali. The problem is that I am in Winnipeg and don't know anyone who does teach bengali lessons. I want to be fluent so that I can have conservation with other family members!
