I am very interested in developing my Magyarul because my nagyapa is the last one of the family in Canada to speak it and I would like to keep it in the family to one day pass on to my children. Also, I have a great interest in traveling to Hungary to trace my roots, and meet family members that I have only seen in photos (and who don't know any English).
Currently , I only have some rudimentary knowledge (basic words, phrases etc. that I have gotten from books and CDs), but I want to become more fluent in conversationa l Magyarul so that I may converse properly and at a normal rate. I am able to pick up some words and concepts when I hear others speaking, but cannot yet respond or form complex sentences.
I am looking to take lessons in a one-on-one or possibly small (3-4 people) class, about once a week at this point. Money is an issue right now, so I cannot afford more frequent lessons. I want to learn from other people whose mother tongue is Hungarian, and who can focus my learning on conversation and reading skills.

-hello, my main reason to learn Japanese is so i may be-able to go to japan for a school transfer and i love the Japanese culture in all it glories and spenders! ^_^

I have Hindi speaking friends and customers, not to mention i have been eating Indian food for 30 years. I know some basics but not enogh to carry on an inteligent conversation. I would like to spend a couple hours per week perferabley with someone in South Calgary that can come to my place. I would prefer my teacher to be fluent in English also.
