I am learning Mandarin and French because I find languages so interesting and removed from what I study at school. I would classify myself as intermediate. I lived in Beijing for a year and studied Mandarin and I studied French for three years during my undergrad. I feel I am rusty in both languages though and require some immediate practice.
I would like to improve my conversation skills and learn more characters. In addition, I would like to start reading short texts in Mandarin and some more difficult texts in French. Suggestions would be more than welcome.
I can dedicate at least 3 hours a week to learning each language.
I would like my teacher to be focused and attentive.
Also, if it's of any consolation, I have teaching experience in English, Math, and Physics.

I am going to Tanzania this summer to volunteer for a month, and travelling Tanzania, Rwanda, and Zanzibar with my family. I know no Swahili but would like to learn some before I go on my trip. I would rather learn how to speak Swahili in a conversation rather than write it, and am looking to have around two lessons per week.

I'm looking to learn Japanese for mostly personal interest in Japanese culture, I may be considering a job involving Japanese but I am unsure as to what I am doing in the long term. I'd be looking at roughly 3 hours of teaching a week. I have some knowledge of the language, particularly the kana and some kanji and basic grasp of the grammar of the Japanese language. My grammar skills and vocabulary are not that strong and I wish to improve on those first and foremost.
