I want to learn Spanish to travel, to read literature and history, and possibly to find work. I have an intermediate level of Spanish with a good base in grammar, but need to practice all listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. I have no gift for languages, but I can work hard and have learned French, German, and Italian ... and also forgotten much of my German and nearly all of my Italian. I hope to get them back though. I would like to have classes or study several hours per week, though how much will depend in part on the price. Teachers need simply to be organized and interesting.

I'm learning because I travel alot in Latin America and eventually plan to move there.
I do know some basics and can get by with some Spanish, but I would say I can speak and have proper conversations , pretty sure
I need to start from the beginning.
If possible depending on my work I would like to do 2 or 3 classes a week.
What I'm looking for in a teacher is a well structured course.

Hi, my name is Paul. I am married to a filipina and have been trying to learn tagalog for a number of years through books and online courses. We are planning to spend our retirement in both Canada and the Philippines, so its time to try and learn tagalog again :-). Hopefully this website is the missing piece in my studies.
