I am seeking a tutor for my 3 1/2 year old daughter to teach her Mandarin, before she starts formal Mandarin classes at 5 years old. I am not looking for formal schooling, rather an opportunity for her to hold regular converations with someone in Mandarin. I am currently looking for a native speaking mandarin teacher to help me practice all elements of language learning. I consider my current ability in speaking and listening to be lower intermediate level however my reading and writing is elementary. I do not mind how I learn although I would like to practice as much as possible whether on an formal or informal basis.
I have previously spent time in China so I am really looking to progress on from the language I have already picked up. I hope to pick up more vocabulary and strengthen my grammatical grasp of the language.
I see furthering my grasp of mandarin as general interest that was created from living in China. I currently work for a bank and spend a lot of time in Manchester city centre.
I am very laid back and open to a variety of teaching methods so get in touch if you feel you can help.
