My partner and I are looking for a private tutor to learn European Portuguese. We are not interested in learning Brazilian Portuguese as my partner's relatives live around Lisbon. There's the possibility that we may spend our vacations in Potugal.
We are absolute beginners and are committed to taking lessons for the long term until we have reached a decent level of fluency. We would like to meet once a week and we are very serious about our dedication to learning the language.
The qualities we're looking for in a teacher are those of patience and consistency.

I've learned a few things in Cantonese already but I would like to further my knowledge so that I can be more coherent in the language as well as read/write it. I would like to learn Cantonese from a native Cantonese speaker. I am a beginner. I live in downtown Toronto, so I would prefer to have the lessons in downtown.
I am free Monday to Friday from 2-6. I am interested in 1-1.5 hour lessons once or twice a week.
