Although I took some spanish in high school, I've forgoten most of what I learnt. I am interested in learnig Spanish because I am in training to become a pilot; knowledge of a second language will be a valuable asset. I am looking to dedicate 3-4 months of my summer to learning spanish. I am looking for a teacher who is disciplined and who requires a lot from me and who is willing to push me.

I have no previous learning experience with the Arabic language. I am very interested in the Middle Eastern culture of the various countries and wish to specialize in the Middle Eastern foreign policy and affairs in univeristy. I think that learning Arabic would be a good place to start to channel my interest in the culture. I also plan to travel a lot in the Middle East.
I am looking for a really patient teacher, because I have trouble learning languages but I am willing to put in the effort required. And I am currently off of school so this would be a good time for me.

My level for this would be beginner. The reason for learning is my girlfriend is from Puna and we will be travelling there next year and I would like to be able to speak the language and have a basic understanding before I go. I am availabe evenings and weekends for the class. I am looking for a patient and understanding teacher. One who will not get frustrated easily. Learning a second language is not easy for me but I will put in my all and do my very best.
