Having to meet and study with Ms. Zhang is the best decision I have made so far The reason why Zhang Laoshi is the best teacher is that she actually cares about her student's development and requirement in learning. With a substantial amount of experience in teaching, it seems like she can accommodate any student requirements. From the first hour of learning Chinese Class with Zhang Laoshi until now, I have quickly seen my improvement in just a short amount of time. To me, more than a teacher, Zhang Laoshi is also my friend and my mentor. Since most of the time we spend were speaking Chinese, I get to know more about Zhang Laoshi personally. She is a very diligent and devoted teacher. She spends a lot of time getting to know each of her students and actively reaching out to understand what her students want and need. Thereby, her Chinese class has been so much more interesting than any other Chinese class I had attended. She makes sure that in each class her student can have fun and effectively learn Chinese at the same time. Furthermore, Ms. Zhang's Chinese class is not just about the language, but it is also about the history, culture and tradition of China. What's more useful is that I get to learn how Chinese actually speak the language not just the dialogue that we usually from textbooks. Besides in-class time, Zhang Laoshi always concluded her class with an email summarizing all the new words or phrases we learned. Moreover, she also very welcoming and encourage her student to send her any inquiries or questions. Another important part that I like about Zhang Laoshi is that, she is very transparent and clear in the beginning. This includes how the class will be like, what will be expected, how and when to pay. These little things made my experience with her much more pleasant since it's all clear from the start. Personally, I was a bit skeptical of this learning online method since I have never encountered with before. However, with Zhang Laoshi, she makes it all worth it and completely change my expectation.
