With regard to teaching Persian grammar the beginning steps are very crucial for “well begun is half done”. Besides, it is possible to teach Persian grammar through different approaches and methods. Why teach Chinese? Because I believe in its capacity to increase the neuroplastici ty of our brain, regardless of its age. We may not be able to perceive any physical changes our brain undergoes, but research has shown that if we put ourselves in a cognitively stimulating environment, the plasticity of our brain increases with growing new neuronal connections. I subscribe to brain-based language teaching and my highly interactive classroom is just such an environment. And the tonal and ideographic nature of Chinese makes it a language uniquely suited for such a task. In our changing world, one can never go wrong by trying to increase the agility of ones brain.
Regardles s of what your potential motivation for learning may be, or how far you would like to travel on this quest, it is about the process that engages and benefits your mind and ultimately your heart. |
