I have always been interested in languages and cultures other than mine. Spanish and Portuguese are the languages and cultures I have been most interested in. I started taking Spanish lessons online last year. I have been speaking for several years.
I have studied percussion and played for many years. Jazz, classical, as well have Cuban and Brazilian styles of music as well. My wife is from Brazil and we have gone there many times. Last year we went to Spain and Portugal and enjoyed our time there. We will definitely go back soon.
I am looking forward to meeting people interested in speaking English with me and me speaking with those who speak Spanish and Portuguese.

Currently, I am an audio student, and anything regarding sound, whether music, or voices and sound effects from movies and video games, will grab my interest without question. I am wanting to learn a new language, as this can help with future networking opportunities, and a language barrier shouldn't prevent me from a new job. I am specifically wanting to learn Japanese, as I enjoy the culture and history of Japan, and find that it will give me the chance to speak to people in the music industry in Japan, learning about their recording/mixing techniques, and how they may differ with American recording/mixing .

I a 25 y/o Polish male born and raised in Gdynia, Poland (5 yrs) and am currently in Iraq as a US soldier learning Arabic along with my native tongue which is slowly fading because I lived in Poland for only 5 yrs. I speak to many Iraqis and coalition Polish soldiers so it would be cool and beneficial to know more Arabic.
I am visiting Poland again in April 2010. I have family in Gdynia, Krakow and Sopot.
