I have had extensive travel to Poland, Germany and Baltic Countries plus SE Asia (Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia). I will be a beginner with Polish but happy to offer you support in English or German. I am a college professor (Business and Economics) and travel during teaching breaks. I can meet a new friend for coffee and conversation--I only speak English and German fluently. so I can help you the most by speaking English and carrying a ENG/other language dictionary. I live near Everett, WA (USA) north of Seattle; we are the home of Starbucks, Amazon, Microsoft and Boeing (and many others!) I love making new friends and discovering cultures that are familiar and also those that are very different from my life experience. Let's be friends!

I'm learning Japanese and Spanish, and can speak some simple sentences in each. In writing, I can do somewhat better. (日本 ;語が すこ& #12375;だ&# 12369;話 2379;ま 377;。 Y sólo hablo un poco español.) I've informally studied both, but have two years of college level Japanese study.
My vocabulary is somewhat limited, but I would be willing to try a voice-chat effort. I believe that my pronunciation of each is above average for a native English speaker. Practicing locally would be fine. (I sometimes feel bad asking co-workers or nearby restaurant staff about language questions.)
P ersonal interests include juggling and photography, among other things.
