Hi, I just want to learn a new language and I have chose Spanish since I am planning to do a lot of traveling in the near future to Spain. Also, I am planning a kind of sabbatical around early 2011 which i'd like to spend traveling in South America.
I am a total newbie to Spanish....I am not planning to do any academic work in spanish, so I guess I am more inclined to be fluent in conversationa l Spanish and to be able to communicate effectively with business partners.

Dear Prospective Teacher,
I wish to become a fluent in the Spanish language. Not only would I like to be able to speak the language, but I also want to know the rules of grammar usage and mechanics of the language. I feel it would be benefical to my career pursuit. I would also be testing in a bi-lingual setting, and I also believe an oral proficiency test. I have a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. I prefer one-on-one teaching methods. I am certainly a beginner. I would like to meet at least once a week, and have a lot of homework between meetings. I am extremely serious in this pursuit, and will devote 110% to making my dream a reality.

I currently speak three languages English, Persian, and French. I would love to learn Spanish as a fourth language because it would create many opportunities for me in different aspects of my life. I have completed Spanish 10 level in high school. I would like to have private classes, maybe twice a week and I will put all my efforts to become fluent in Spanish. The qualities I look for in a teacher is someone who will challenge me and wants to teach me.
