I'm an American who likes to spend a lot of time in Greece. I've picked up some basics of Greek, but would like to learn more so that I can get around more easily and have basic conversations with people I meet. I know the alphabet and basic phrases to get along. My food vocabulary is pretty good, too. Right now, I want a few refresher classes focused on speaking to catch me up before I leave town in July, but I might like to continue after I get back in September. I only have time for one or two lessons a week (1 to 1.5 hours each) right now. I'd like a friendly teacher who is open to sharing some cultural knowledge as well.

I am a 29 year old Kuwaiti woman. I am an obs. & Gyne. doctor working in a govermental hospital. I am planning to visit Canada and I have a work interview which requires conversation in french. I do not have any back ground in french and I need personal lessons a.s.a.p. I need the lessons for at least the next 18 days starting from tomorrow (7/9/2011) with a minimum of 2 hours per day. I prefer a female techer who speaks french as a 1st language, but I am flexible and other nationalities are also welcome. I prefer to have the lessons in person at my house but I don't mind shifting to another place.
