I am a beginner somewhat. I took spanish in high school, but that was years ago. I wish to learn to speak this language because it is the second most spoken language in the United States. I know it will advance me in any career path out in the job market. I would love to learn to speak the language, not simply memorize it and need a dictionary with me at all times. I would love to invite a spanish speaking person to live with me or at least visit me daily. I would invest eight hours a day to learning this language. I feel my age shows my maturity level. Dear Prospective Teacher,
I wish to become a fluent in the Spanish language. Not only would I like to be able to speak the language, but I also want to know the rules of grammar usage and mechanics of the language. I feel it would be benefical to my career pursuit. I would also be testing in a bi-lingual setting, and I also believe an oral proficiency test. I have a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. I prefer one-on-one teaching methods. I am certainly a beginner. I would like to meet at least once a week, and have a lot of homework between meetings. I am extremely serious in this pursuit, and will devote 110% to making my dream a reality.

I'm considering a move to a part of Latin America where little English is spoken, hence I must speak fairly well just to get by. Once there, I can take immersion classes. I've been working with CDs, some reading, and an instructor two hours a week but need much more conversation. Proficiency is mid-beginner.
I'd like around three hours of instruction per week, in blocks no longer than 1.5 hours.
I can't pay more than $9 per hour.
