I AM TRYING TO LEARN FRENCH AS A 3RD LANGUAGE AND BE FLUENT IN IT SO I CAN PASS THE FRENCH EMBASSY INTERVIEW ONCE I APPLY FOR THE FRENCH PASSPORT AS MY WIFE IS FRENCH. I HAVE LEARNED SOME BASIC FRENCH IN HIGH SCHOOL AND UNDERSTAND FRENCH ALONG WITH ITALIAN AND GERMAN BUT AM NOT ABLE TO MASTER IT. THUS I WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO HAVE A PROPER CONVERSATION IN FRENCH. I CAN DEDICATE AS MUCH TIME AS NEEDED.

To begin with,I am looking to learn french because ottawa is the nations capital and you need to know french if you are looking to have a good career. As I am employed right now a store manager I see the asset of being able to speak french. I can barly get through a conversation. I understand when people talk to me as long as they speak slowly. I would consider my self a beginner. I would like to improve speaking french. I would dedicate minimum twice a week in my lessons so I could get the grasp of it quicker. The qualities I am looking for in my lessons/teach er would just be patience and easy going.

I would like to work on my French oral skills in order to interact clearly and with ease when among colleagues or friends.
M y level is somewhere between b1 and b2.It would be great to have a young, talkative teacher that can teach me the daily used language and not the very formal one.
I am planning to dedicate from 2 to 3 hours a week at least for French courses.

Spanish - Living in Dallas I find that spanish would be a huge asset. I like to understand what is being said around me as well. It would also be helpful for my job. I am mostly a beginner. I took Spanish lessons over 10 years ago. I remember some things but not enough to say I am more then a beginner.
French - My boyfriend is in culinary school @ Le Cordon Bleu. He may join me for this lesson. I would like to travel to France and be able to communicate while there, as well as after. Having some highlight on cooking vocabulary would be useful as well. We may look to move there eventually.
Slovak - I have family from this area. I would like to be able to communicate with them.
Time: I do not know how much time I am looking to put into lessons. That will be determined by price vs. value. Ideally I would think 2x a week.
Teacher: I get bored easily if I do not feel challenged or engaged. I like to have fun and laugh. I would like a teacher that is relaxed, easy going, and flexible. I work unusual hours and will likely need to meet at different days and times each week.
