I am a teacher who works with mostly Hispanic students. I'd like to learn conversationa l Spanish so that I can better communicate with them and their families. I don't make a lot of money, so I'm looking for someone to teach me for $15-$20 an hour. I'm willing to take as long as is necessary at that rate to learn. I am hoping to move to Spain by next August to teach English but need to have my spanish speaking skills more tuned. I have gone through two years of spanish classes in college and would be able to pick up on simple grammar and vocabualary after a week or so of practice, however I struggle the most in conversationa l spanish. I work full time but I am looking to apply as much energy as possible to learning spanish since this is something I am choosing to commit a full year of my life to doing in another country plus two immersion courses this summer.
My main goal is for someone who can help me get to where I need to be in conversationa l spanish in the next 8 months.

I applied for a job with Border Patrol Agency. I am required to speak Spanish, or I will be at the end of the Academy. I know something in Spanish. It is not enough, though. I try to learn it by myself but it is not like you learn it with a teacher. Although I am going to be learning Spanish in the BP Academy I just want to help myself a little bit beforehand. It never hurts to know more.
