I am looking for an English-speak ing native Finn to teach me Finnish classes. My current level is beginner, and I am trying to learn some basics on my own, using what looks like a rather good book to me. I am learning Finnish for a hobby (believe it or not), and because I'm fascinated by the culture and nature of this country. I would like to have 1 - 2 classes a week. I am an English teacher myself, and I would appreciate in my teacher the qualities that i consider to be necessary for any professional in this field: he/she should be disciplined and organized, knowledgeable about their subject and how to teach it properly, sociable and easy-going. The following things are also viewed as a must: extensive use of listening materials, well-structur ed classes, up-to-date resource materials.
