This is for my daughter who is 7.5 years. Recently, to have a kind of hobby, which is something different than her other activities, and at the same time to also gain some skills from the long-term point of view, we decided to learn a language and zeroed in on french.
We tried a few online learning sites, but that doesn't seem to be working out and hence we think that a personal tutor could probably help.
To begin with, we are hoping that she learns basic french speaking, after which she can study further to gain more proficiency.
We would like to discuss the various approaches with the teacher and decide the best option as per the situation.

I am a student of MOELC and have been learning French as my third language for the past one year. I am 13 years old and will be sec 2 in 2012. I find the lessons at MOELC too fast and thus would like to have extra lessons outside to aid my learning. I would like to have lessons on a weekly basis, mainly to catch up and revise on what was taught in class. Looking for one to one lessons preferably at my place. I got to an intermediate level in French after infrequent study during high school. I am now living in Tunis and would like to get my French up to the same level as it was when I finished studying French 8 years ago. I would describe myself as a mid-level beginner who needs some help to get up to an intermediate standard.
I would like to focus on conversation. I am preferably looking for two 2-hour classes per week, but I can be flexible depending on the teacher's requirements.
I am looking for a friendly, fun teacher who can teach me informal, conversationa l French.
