I am a beginner, and know nothing at all about the language. I live in an area that is populated with many Persians and I want to be able to speak with them in their language...al so there is this cute Persian woman I want to meet. I can take lessons on weekends only due to my work situation. I am not sure what qualities I am looking for in a teacher, I guess it is just a matter of matching the teacher to the student.

Soy universitario canadiense con ganas de afinar mi castellano por fines profesionales . En particular quiero desarrollar mas mi habilidad de hablar con espontaneodad y menos vacilacion. Tambien necesito mas entrenamiento en como escribir de manera correcta gramaticament e y precisa. My partner and I are looking for a private tutor to learn European Portuguese. We are not interested in learning Brazilian Portuguese as my partner's relatives live around Lisbon. There's the possibility that we may spend our vacations in Potugal.
We are absolute beginners and are committed to taking lessons for the long term until we have reached a decent level of fluency. We would like to meet once a week and we are very serious about our dedication to learning the language.
The qualities we're looking for in a teacher are those of patience and consistency.

I have no knowledge of Hindi.
I would like to learn for personal interest (I am thinking of visiting India in the future).
I could dedicate one or two session per week to learning Hindi, tentatively.
I would like to learn enough Hindi to be able to converse comfortably, if only at a basic level; thus, I would like lots of conversation and comprehension practice!
