I'm a 16 years old student who loves to learn foreign languages. I have the interest since I was in pre-school. I'd like to learn more foreign languages because it can help me to communicate with people around the world and I like to be exposed in social life. I'm thinking of pursuing a career as a stewardess. Therefore, if I have languages skill, it'll be an extra bonus for me. I've never speak Korean to people. I never know how to. Thus, I'd like to learn. I'm very determined and dedicated to foreign languages studies. The ideal teacher for me would be someone who is a Korean or lived in Korea for more than 5 years. I have been accepted into a study abroad program and would like a tutor to teach me as a beginner of the Korean language. Since i am a beginner i would need help in pronouncing, reading and writing in an elementary/ba sic and patient way. I would like to spend 2-3 hours daily or by weekend on the learning of the Korean language.

Im a beginner. I want to learn korean language because I love the korean culture and I want to visit Korea soon. I think I need more attention on my conversation skills because I might not understand korean language in a conversation. The time I need is atleast until I am quite fluent in the language. I have a very basic Korean proficiency level. I am just a beginner.
I would like to learn Korean in order to qualify for a Fulbright scholarship. I am also hopeful that Korean will benefit me in my future career.
I have been teaching myself Korean through a textbook and learning through the Rosetta Stone, but this isn't enough. I must have at least two semester's worth of Korean in order to qualify for the Fulbright. If I am awarded the fulbright, I will be studying in South Korea starting around July or August of 2010. I know some vocabulary and basic sentences and grammar, but need improvement in all areas. Even if I do not recieve the grant to study in South Korea, I am still very much interested in the language and culture and plan on continuing the study of the Korean language.
I am willing to dedicate a few hours a week to language lessons. I would like lessons that focus on both grammar and conversation both written and verbal.
