I need to learn Spanish for my job.
I am a beginner - but I can translate lengthy documents for my work - with Bablyon dictionary and online help.
I need to understand the grammar and I need to converse
I want a custom set of lessons over a 4 week period from July 19 to August 18. I will be in Canberra on a regular basis during this time on certain days of the week. I have some committments but can specify the times I have free. I would like to have the equivalent of a whole day per week perhaps over 3 days.
I want a qualified teacher, native Spanish speaker, warm and straightforwa rd who can help me cover the basics as fast as I am able.

Why you are learning your foreign language (e.g., career advancement, etc.). For the last few years, I have been wanting to work/travel in Japan. I understand that people who are able to speak Japanese and fluent English have a better chance of getting jobs than those who are only proficient in one language.
Your proficiency level (e.g., beginner, etc.). I have completed a beginners course in Japanese speaking at TAFE.
The areas in which you feel you need particular improvement (e.g., grammar, conversation, etc.), if any. I want to start learning conversationa l Japanese, and as I get more proficient at the language, start learning Kanji/Hirigan a and Kitagana.
How much time you want to dedicate to your language lessons. I want to aim to have a basic understanding to the language within 6 months.
What qualities you are looking for in your lessons or in your teacher. - Patience!
