I am currently at about an Intermediate level in Spanish, but need to reach up to an Advanced level by August, when I will be attending a university in Peru and taking classes along with native speakers for three months. I feel that I need improvement in all areas, but particularly in conversation. I would like to do about 3 hours a week or so on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. I am very eager to learn and since time is of the essence, I am looking for a teacher who will be able to rigorously prepare me on time for my travels this fall.

I have had the required years in college but have forgotten it almost completely. I try now but am embarrassed to practice because most spanish speakers speak better english than I do spanish. So I know some words and some structural sentence but really need to learn to talk and understand, especially to understand because they talk so fast and slur some sounds. I work in insurance, seguro de accidente naturales, something like that. I need to speak about parts of the house, contents in the house, weather, elements of disasters and about people and their lives....and sayings because there is nothing worse than not getting it! I want to be able to say I can speak spanish. I will travel to you if you are not far off the highway like 528/Beachline or I95
