I am learning Russian out of a deep interest in the culture of that country. I have a great passion for Russian literature and that has since blossomed into a love for Russian history, music and art as well. I am also a history teacher and would love to be able to use my knowledge of Russian language to my advantage when teaching Russian history in the classroom. Ultimately, though, my greatest goal in learning the language is to be able one day to read the works of Dostoyevsky and Tolstoy in the original.
I have been teaching myself Russian for the past two years - on and off - and am somewhere between beginner and intermediate level. I am hoping that learning with an actual instructor will help me to go beyond my current, stagnated level. I am particularly interested in bring able to construct conversations and to eventually read and write in Russian. I can already read and write but very limited.
I am only willing to spend about an hour a week on instruction, but if I find that you are the ideal person to teach me and that the process has proven effective, I am willing to dedicate as much as three hours a week to it.

I would really like to learn Dutch as I am half Dutch. I would like to be able to speak to my family in their native tongue.
My parents speak dutch and I have picked up words here and there but i am very much a beginner. I would like to learn all areas (e.g.,grammar , conversation, etc) and become, in time, fluent in the language.
I would be able to dedicate week night times of one to two hours.
I am looking for a teacher who is well informed about the language, that will be patient with my learning and educate me in the language to their best ability.
