Hi,
I am 16 years old and reside in the eastern suburbs of Sydney. I am very interested in seriously learning Thai as many of my close friends are Thai, including 'faen kong chun'. I already know some basic greetings and have a small vocabulary which I would like to greatly expand, so that I can develop my conversationa l skills and overall understanding . I also speak quite a bit of French, so I feel like this would be beneficial for me as I am very interested in and love learning languages (and also about different cultures). I am looking for a teacher who will be able to aid me in learning Thai once or twice a week, who is friendly, approachable and patient. I would love to learn korean because I just love Korea and it's culture, it's just so amazing. In the future, I'm planning to travel to Korea or maybe even move there. I already know the whole korean alphabet and some words. I just want to learn how to speak it comfortably while in Korea.

I am looking at relocating to Europe (Belgium/Holl and). I am a beginner and looking at gaining the basics to be able to converse, write and understand the grammar. I would look at not less than 1 hour/wk face to face with take home work and especially access to Dutch speakers (male and female) outside of class that wish to meet to reinforce the language skills in different situations (work/art gallery/cafe/ restaurant etc). The qualities I would like in a tutor are native language skills, empathy for beginners and a no-nonsense approach to keep me on my toes!!! A deep immersion program would be best with take home notes to follow up... Your ideas are welcome. Regards Shane Savage
