Hola!
I understand much of Spanish, but need to improve my conversationa l vocabulary, verbs, and grammar. My purpose for learning is for better career opportunities and social networking relationships . My formal education is in nursing, and my goal is to be proficient and verbally fluent by August 2012!!
I reside in So. California, and will be in Spain from April to June 2012 in different cities like Madrid, Barcelona, and Granada for at least 2 weeks each. While in Spain I will be taking group Spanish classes part time. I am willing to take lessons in-person or via video conferencing like skype. I think 5 hours per week will be appropriate, but possibly up to 10 hours per week.
If you are a teacher reading this, please respond with hourly rates, and whether you offer a free trial. Please have 5+ years experience and be a formally trained educator. Also, if you have experience in medical Spanish that is preferred. I am not as familiar with Spanish from Spain. :-)

I do not really know any spanish. I took spanish in high school and know a little. I now have a husband and half of my family is mexican. So I would really like to learn everything in spanish that I can say in English. I would also like to read and write. My husband tries to teach me, but is not very patient. The fact that I need to know what each thing means individually and in a sentence, prohibits him from teaching me. So if someone could help please contact me.
