I have never taken Spanish. I am a journalist and traveler. I prefer to have a teacher who is from Central or South America. Specfically Mexico since my home is in Arizona. I would like to learn how to read, write, and speak Spanish fluently. I am learning this as much for a personal reason as career, but mostly for career motives. I am a beginner, but I have some conversationa l skills. I need improvement everywhere.
I look for professionali sm in a teacher. I would a live, in person teacher who will interact with me in Spanish language. I would like a teacher who gives me some homework.
I am looking to dedicate 3 hours a week with my tutor and about 8-10 hours a week on my own.

I recently relocated to the San Jose area and plan to stay through December. I am currently taking group classes at a local school but I am looking for private Spanish lessons. I would like to take approximately 8-12 hours of Spanish lessons a week. I would consider myself an intermediate Spanish learner.
