Hello, I am interested in improving the French I already know from living in Quebec, Canada until I was 27 years of age. I would grade my proficiency as intermediate for the spoken word and less than that for written. I have a large vocabulary but my gammar needs help and I need to 'converse' for maybe two hours a week to get back into the habit of speaking. My foremost interest would be to become an 'advanaced' student because I have a two year old son that I would like to become bilingual (French/Engli sh). I speak no Italian and only plan to be living it Italy for two years per my husband's work. I am looking for a teacher who is fluent in spoken and written French. I am willing to study hard and need someone to help achieve my goal. Since I am a stay at home Mom I would need to have my lesson(s) at night or on weekends.

I would like to learn German because I have a great desire to travel and learn as many languages as I can- German has always been on my 'to-do' list so to speak, and with recent plans to move there, learning the language would most definitely come in handy.
I would prefer in life lessons, I learn faster this way and it will be much easier for me to perfect accent, and to ask question as well. I don't expect to be the perfect fluent speaker by the time I move, but I would like to have a grasp on the language and be able to interact with people. I plan on moving sometime in the early summer, so idealy I would like to start lessons right away and continue until I'm due to leave.
I'm looking for a teacher whom is confident and works well with one on one learning because I like to ask a lot of questions, and who can make learning a new language as fun as I think it is.
