I am a beginner and really want to become proficient in all aspects of the Thai language from reading and writing to proper speaking.
I want to learn because I have many friends I have met from there and I keep going back to Thailand (3 times in 9 months) and find it a bit frustrating that I can't communicate efficiently. This is my fault as I have not taken the time yet to learn.
I want to spend a lot of time learning the language. I have already purchased several different books, CD's and software programs to assist me though I have only been using them for about 1 month.
I am looking for someone who can be patient and will make learning fun. Thai I realize is a very difficult language and if it isn't fun, I am not sure if I would be as motivated as I am now.

I am a beginner, having studied one-on-one in Thailand for three weeks and continuing in one on one lessons in the US for 3 months. I am moving to Providence and want to progess in Thai as I intend to keep going to Thailand where I study Thai Massage.
I would like to study perhaps three times a week, one hour lessons.

I am a beginner at Thai though I have some basic knowledge because I have previously spent two years in Thailand. I require proficiency for a job I will start in Thailand in the fall. I can dedicate as much time as is available in order to reach the highest level possible before my departure. I am an American born Thai that would like to learn to speak proper Thai. My parents wanted to learn English so they primarly spoke English with me at home. I can understand Thai very well but when I want to speak, sometimes the words are not there.
I would also like learn to read and write the Thai language.
I am a Muay Thai instructor and would like to get more in touch with my culture as well as to travel to Thailand next year. I have been to Thailand twice but it was with my parent. I would now like to go bymyself and to do that, I will need a strong understanding of the language.
I am willing to dedicate up to two hours per week to learn and will study on my own as well.
