Hello. I have been asked to move to China to take up a senior management position. Whilst I can expect that English will be spoken within the office environment, I have been advised to expect very little english spoken outside of that in the local community.
I will relocate within one to three months; as early as October. I will be based in Suzhou but also working in Tianjin each week. I will be in a University environment.
I would like to learn the most I can about Mandarin and the Chinese business culture. I would be available for 2-3 hours per day for the next few weeks.
I hope to hear from you soon so that I can progress my learning quickly and be respectful of my hosts when I arrive in China.
