I'm trying to learn how to speak Japanese and Korean. Right now we have Japanese in our school which has really only taught us how to write hiragana and katakana. The teacher has not done a good job with teaching us phrases at all.
I would also like to learn Korean because I am very intrigued by the culture, and the language itself to me is very interesting.
I chose these two languages because I am very passionate about learning languages and different cultures. The Japanese and Korean cultures happen to be my favorite for it completely different way of living from here.

I just finished school recently, and I'd like to learn Korean during the Summer. Learning Korean is one of my goals at the moment, since I love Korean pop and drama. I want to understand what I watch every single day! I learned how to read, write Hangul and few basic words on my own,however that's about it. I want to MASTER the language, and I'll give it anything. In the meantime I expect to find equal enthusiasm from the teacher. I really wish the lessons to be fun and interactive.
