Dear prospective teacher(s),
I am interested in receiving private tutoring lessons in Arabic (modern standard). Although I have lived in the Middle East for a couple of years, my arabic is mostly colloquial, and as I am a graduate student, having a mastery of the Arabic language is a requirement for my degree. I am using Georgetown University Press's Al-Kitaab series.
I would like a teacher who can truly explain the language, as understanding grammatical concepts and structures is extremely important to me. A native speaker is essential.

I have always wanted to be able to communicate in a different language.
I would consider myself between beginner and intermediate (Macedonian), I know present, future tense, and simple past tense. I understand using definite direct objects with nouns and adjectives and applying the clitics with the verbs.
I need improvement (Macedonain) on understanding and speaking as well as future-in-the -past and verbal l formations. I also want to be proficient in reading books (at least children's books).
I would prefer to have 2-3 lectures of 1hr each per week (similar to a school schedule), but I am flexable on this.
I like structure (with the lessons and objectives), and I like a teacher who enjoys teaching. I prefer in person lectures, but I am open to online lectures as well.
