I want to learn korean because I want to know the culture and go to korea one day and see the place that I am in love with. My proficiency level is beginner because I do not know any korean at all and I want to be advanced level by the end of grade 12. I need improvement in ever area of korean because I do not know anything at all. I would dedicate 2-3 hours a week for lessons and as much time until I am fluent at speaking in the language. I am looking for any teacher that is able to teach me but I would prefer a teacher about my age and is willing to answer questions.

I am just completing my degree in 'Russian Studies' from the University of Calgary, but I am not satisfied with the speaking ability required by the University. Despite my degree, I am far from comfortable in Russian, and I would like to work on this.
I am not a beginner, but I don't know that I am advanced, either. Perhaps intermediate level.

I have recently become engaged to a Brazilian lady and have intentions of moving to Brazil on a more permanent basis in the future. I am familiar with a lot of vocabulary, but sentence structure, grammar and conversation are out of my grasp at this point, so I would classify myself as a beginner. To start, I'd be willing to put in 3 to 5 hours a week in my studies, as I'm working a lot these days. As for teacher qualities, they must be patient and flexible.
