i guess you could call me a beginner in spanish. i know very little, but some. i wanna learn not only the textbook stuff but also the street stuff. i wanna learn spanish just because and because there is a growing number of spanish speaking people in our country.
my weaknesses are listening to the language and understanding it. i do ok when reading it. i need help with vocabulary. i also have a big problem with retaining what ive learned. so i need a teacher that can help in those areas especially with helping me retain the information.

I am at an intermediate Spanish level. I used to live in Puerto Rico and went to school my 5th grade year when I was 10yrs and used to read, write and speak spanish. I know am 29yrs old and am no longer to speak spanish. In French I am just a beginner. I plan on visiting France in the future, but am mostly looking to enhance my career opportunities . I want to become fluent enough to carry on a conversation and interpret for my job as necessary.
In Spanish, I can carry on a polite conversation although it has been many years since I have. My spanish is a little rusty, but good enough to speak to most. I am looking to become fluent.
I am willing to learn over email or in person. I do believe at some point you need to hear someone speaking the words in order to speak them correctly. I love learning new languages. I learn quickly and am eager to learn.

Hola,
I am an audit manager based in Tokyo, visiting Philadelphia for 3 weeks training July 9-29. I expect to be visiting the US twice a year. I will be staying in Horsham at the Spring Hill Suites, however will have rental car.
I am originally from Finland, and my hobby is studying languages (I can speak 7 to some extent). I am looking for evening/weeke nd classes or lessons to learn Spanish. I have been studying by myself using several books and on-line resources for some time (alongside other languages) so would call myself an advanced beginner. I visited Madrid and Barcelona in 2002.
