I am a 40ish Scot who hasn't got the Gaelic. I would love to be able to speak it. I am a lowland Scot from Greenock,(alt hough living in the south of England) and didn't have any opportunity to learn at school. I have always wanted to be able to understand the language, it sounds so beautiful when spoken.
I was never any good at languages in school and hated being made to do French, how I regret that now.
To do Gaelic lessons now would be something for me to do probably in the evenings or weekends and for my own enjoyment. I work full time, but it is shift work and usually have some free time during the week.

My husband and I are keen to start learning Scottish Gaellic. We would be happy to learn via MSN or make a trip into Paris weekly if necessary. We're both new at this so we'll need to start from scratch.
