I have to say that I am a beginner, but I hear a lot of Spanish songs, read the lyrics and chat with my friends in spanish. Though I am not fluent I can speak a very little spanish.
Well, it's a long story, I admire Shakira, pop singer, a lot. One day I resolved to myself that I will learn to speak spnaish. This might sound foolish as it is, but I am really looking forward to learn spanish. At first it was just a desire, but now it has become a gaol.
The areas in which I feel you need particular improvement are grammar, conversation, fluency etc.
I can dedicate 2 hours daily for my language lessons.
I want a teacher who was born in a Spanish country and can speak impeckable spanish.

beginner, wanting to learn the german language as i have a year's assignment in germany.
i am a practicing doctor (medico), and need to be able to converse with patients/ doctors in germany in basic german. i do not mind spending 4 - 5 hrs per week for the same.
i would find it preferable if the teacher could teach me the language at my home ( i am a cardiologist and emergency calls preclude my going too far away from home). if not,though, i do not mind going to the teachers place to learn, but that would necessarily have to be on sundays and maybe one evening in the week as per mutual convinience
