I am currently studying in India, studying the fabulous world of Bollywood Cinema taking a course in Direction with the Digital Academy in MIDC. English is my second language, and I speak it well enough to get by without problems in Mumbai. However, if I want to enjoy India in full, I quickly understood, that I would have to learn the native language as well. As conversations with Indian friends quickly turn to hindi, my connection with the crowd diminishes...
I also realized, that it would be more convenient with the most generally spoken Indian language, and hindi seemed the natural choice for a second conversationa l language while in India..
I have been in Mumbai for two weeks now, and have only picked up the occasional word or maybe even frase, calling out Ruko to the Rickdrivers, and flaring out Chaldi Challo as we take of...
Depending on the price, I hope to start a concentrated schedule to learn as fast as possible, all the while still attending my other studies, and the main reason for my stay..
As I am very eager to get started, the best response is the fastest one.
