I am a full time graduate student looking for a spanish tutor who is available for private lessons. I have several semesters of formal spanish classes and have spent some time in Mexico, however it has been quite a while since I have utilized the spanish language for any purpose. I am planning to travel to Mexico again this summer and I would like to eventually become fully billingual - so I need a tutor who can review with me as well as improve my ability to communicate - both written and verbal. I am a quick learner who likes to incorporate humor in most everything I do - so I would love to find a tutor with a fun teaching style who can help me reach my billingual goal! I am interested in devoting 1 to 2 hours weekly with a tutor - and I have no problem with traveling to meet with someone since I live outside of Dallas.

Looking for lessons for my two children (7 and 9) and myself. I have taken Russian, French, Latin many years ago and would like to continue learning.
Neither of my children have taken language classes (my daughter has taken a fun Japanese class in which she learned to sing in Japanese, but otherwise no other classes).
Looking for someone good with children and who will make learning fun. We are willing to devote at least once a week (possibly twice) for lessons and I'm willing to either learn as a group or individually with my children.
Want someone who is patient, sense of humor, and takes their teaching seriously but who is also flexible as I am a working single parent with many other 'irons in the fire.'

I am Cuban american. My mother is American and my father is Cuban. I was raised by my mother's side of the family and never really had the oppurtunity to learn as much as I'd like. I do know some simple things and can understand much more than I am able to speak. Although, now I am working in the pharmacy and have had to speak to alot of other latinos who are unable to speak any english at all. Here lies my problem, I am able to understand alot of what the patients are saying but not able to communicate back with them and tell them what they need to know. I'm very self conscience about this and am very eager to learn as much as possible not only to help with my career but to be able to pass the language along with the cuban culture to my children.If there are any teachers that are located close to my area and are willing to help me please contact as soon as possible.
