My proficiency level is that of a complete beginner. I want to learn since I plan to work in Thailand and settle down on a long term basis in Thailand. I think my main area of concern is day to day conversation in Thai. I plan to put in atleast 6 months in mastering this language and work further in correct grammar. This is morris.gunase elan, willing to take up Civil service exams, so will be needing a thorough training in English grammar,essay writing,diffe rence between written English and spoken English, etc....I believe if i would be trained according to TOFEL it would be good, frankly speaking i'm not sure.
Its been a long time since i have touched english grammar,so i will be needing lessons from the beginners stage(to avoid any concept or important lessons missed out).
And will be good if you tell me more about your experience in the subject.
