French:
I have been studying French on and off for nine years, and I am no where near as good as I should be. I studied it in high school and have done a little at Uni. I haven't studied it properly for a year, and have been studying Spanish in the meantime so I am very rusty. Conversation is probably my weakest point, followed by grammar.
I want to spend a bit of time over summer refreshing my language skills, before I go back to uni.
Spani sh:
I have recently been travelling and spent 2 months in Nicaragua. When I arrived I did not speak a word of Spanish but I did take some lessons there. Also I spent two weeks in Barcelona taking some more spanish lessons.
C omprehension is probably my strong point in spanish, because of my background in french. But so far I don't have a great vocabulary or a wide knowledge of grammar.
I intend to pick up spanish at uni next year so want to get a head start over summer.

I am interested in your tutoring for French. I am trying to study for the French CLEP exam (college level exam program). It's a test that if I pass, I will not have to take a class and it will fulfill a part of my general education requirement. I lived in Canada many years ago and took four years of French in high school. I would say I'm a step above a beginner. I am having trouble with grammar and vocabulary.
