I am a beginner wanting to learn the Russian language. I plan on traveling to the Ukraine in the late summer. I want to have a basic understanding of the language to navigate easier throughout the country. I need work on all areas, grammer and conversation. I can dedicate at least an hour 4 to 5 evenings a week. I am looking for a teacher whose first language is Russian or Ukrainian. Also a patient teacher because I am a beginner.

* I know a couple of words but want to be able to speak basic sentances in converstation . I have purchased 'Ultimate Japanese Course - by Living Language' and would like to use this as a reference while learning the cultural side and language.
* I want to learn as I work for a Japanese company (Yamaha), and am going to Japan this spring - April 20th
* I can spend alot of time on my own, and am flexable on time to take lessons. I want to record lessons and words to practice on my own.
* Main focus on conversation, cultural information, interaction and understanding of relating to Japanese culture on a person to person level.
