I have moved to Dusseldorf from Florida for work, where the lingua france is English. I particularly would like to communicate in everyday situations in shops, etc.
I have had several German courses, but quite long ago; my level is perhaps advanced beginner, with some basic vocabulary and grammar concepts, all needing practice in any case.
I can dedicate up to an hour per day of self study; to start, I would like to fit in two lesson /week with teacher, if practical.
I would appreciate compassion and sense of humor from my teacher.

I have lived in Cologne for six years but due to work commitments spend much of my time elsewhere.
I can understand basic German but I am not capable/confi dent enough to engage in conversation.
I would like to learn German both for personal use when home in Cologne and as a possible career advancement tool in the future.

Hello,
My name is Seamus. I am Irish but living in Germany for almost 2 years. Since I moved here all my work has been through English language but unfortunately the company I was working for recently closed.
I would like to learn proper Business German (reading and writing)to help me find a job. My wife is German so I do obviously have a certain amount of the language but I need to improve my grammar, spelling and in particular 'Du & Sie'.
At the moment I can give a lot of time to the learning process. I would prefer to make 1 to 1 lessons with an experienced teacher who can make the learning interesting and disciplined.
