I am a beginner in Latin or in Greek. I thought it would be interesting enough to learn another language. Also, i got deeply inlove with one of the classes i took back in LA. I took ancient greek philosophy and this class got me interested since the ancient philosophers wrote in latin or in greek. I am 19 and i think it would be great to acquire a skill of understanding an old language. i would dedicate up to 8 hours a week if my teacher is strict but cool.

i speak english as my first language and japanese as my second (writen & spoken), but my proficiency for greek is of a beginner, i speak no greek at all, i want to learn for family and work reasons.
Maybe 1-2 lessons per week depending on cost. i would like lessons in reading, writing & speaking as well as grammer and would like a teacher who has good communication and teaching skills, and can explain things well for correct understanding . These quailites in a teacher make all the difference.

I am a 19 year male. I am not currently enrolled in college but I would like to do something with my day after work. I am a beginner in Greek. I learned the alphabet and the breathings and the dipthongs by my self I can pronounce alright. Usually I spend 4 hours a day on learning.
Th e qualities I am looking for are obiously that my teacher would have to know Greek inside and out and to be nice and funny also smart.
