I am at a beginner level in Greek. I would like to learn conversationa l Greek as I will be travelling to Greece in August, 2005. I would definiftely be considered a beginner. My purpose for learning Greek is that it is a part of my heritage, and I never had the opportunity to learn it when I was younger. Ideally I would like to spend an hour to two hours a week learning this language. I would hope that the instructor is patient and friendly.

I am looking to learn greek as I wish to relocate there in 2/3 years following my graduation. I will say that my level is beginner. My aim eventually is to live and work in some capacity in Greece as my son who is in navy is looking for a property on the mainland. I have over the last few years gone with small groups to Athens on short breaks but have relied on greek friends if there have been any problems but feel I should learn the language to become integrated into the greek way of life. I am also hoping to have part of my work placement in Greece.
I am looking for a tutor who will give the confidence to speak without worrying if I make a mistake. Fun whilst learning is a must.Also Iwould like to learn on a 1-2-1 basis.
